Overview
Vilon is the shortest bioactive peptide known, composed of just two amino acids (Lysine-Glutamic acid). Derived from thymus tissue, it regulates immune function and has shown anti-aging properties by modulating gene expression and supporting T-cell activity.
How It Works
Vilon acts as an epigenetic regulator, interacting with chromatin to modulate gene expression. It activates facultative heterochromatin, increases interleukin-2 signaling, and promotes CD5 T-cell proliferation. It restores immune balance while preventing autoimmune reactions.
Research Status
Developed at St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation. Animal studies show increased lifespan. Not FDA approved.
